What has happened to classic style, its around but its not mainstream. You have to hunt for it, but its out there, and if its out there then people are interested in it. Just look at the amount of bloggers with classic style (esp in photo’s) on their blog. But it feels like we are in the minority these days.
What got me started on this was watching a episode of Come Dine With Me of all things. One of the participants was celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke. Seems a nice enough guy, but it was what he was wearing that interested me. He was around 49-50 I believe when he made that programme and there he was similar to the photo below. Now that got me thinking as to what are we supposed to wear when we approach our late 40’s, is that really the way to go. Rockstars seems to embrace this look too. Dishevelled = cool. Why? No don’t answer that I think I know.
Hopefully on this blog I will show that there is an alternative. That people with style have and still do exist and are there to inspire the rest of us who are searching to be stylish, classic, idiosyncratic or a mixture of those.
Style on brothers and sisters, style on.
Shivers down my spine time.
Class singer, class song, class production.
FEEL that emotion.
